Lumi Radix is a unique organization that fuels human aspirations for a better world. Lumi is derived from the Latin word “Lumen,” meaning “light of life,” and is short for “Luminous,” meaning shining, illustrious, and enlightening. Radix is the Latin word for the base or root of something (such as a plant, spinal nerve, number system, or logarithms), the primary source.

As part of our aspirational endeavors and to help any determined student (or individual) reach their full potential, we have put together several mentorship and career development programs. These programs aim to develop, train, and challenge individuals with skills and resources available outside their provincial environment, thus allowing each individual to grow to their full potential. The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), founded in 1911, has trained 57,000 healthcare professionals and researchers across its six colleges in Memphis, Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Nashville.
